Hans Josephsohn Exhibition – Lismore Castle | 20 May – 20 August 2012

Venue: Lismore Castle Arts Gallery

The main exhibition at Lismore Castle Arts Gallery for 2012 will be a solo show by Hans Josephsohn. Staged in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth and Kesselhaus Josephsohn,the exhibition will feature specially selected works for the Lismore exhibition. Josephsohn, now in his 90’s, is considered one of the world’s most influential artists and his practice continues to inform and inspire contemporary artists.

This will be his first solo show in Ireland and his first institutional exhibition since 2008.
There will be a programme of events involving international cultural commentators during the exhibition and a specially commissioned book will be published in summer 2012.

At St Carthage Hall:Is just a small distance from Lismore Castle. There will be three solo exhibitions at our off-site project space St Carthage Hall during summer 2012.

A new body of work made during a residency at Lismore.
