A Christmas Wonderland in Waterford City | 3rd-24th December.

A ‘winter wonderland’ awaits you in Waterford’s Broadstreet and John’s Robberts square this year, as visitors soak up the festive atmosphere, browse the stalls and enjoy Christmas carols, hearty food. Christmas markets consist of brightly decorated wooden huts selling traditional products from handicrafts and hot food, sausages, pastries and Christmas cakes and tarts and mince pies and local specialties. The markets sell nice Christmas stocking fillers, such as wooden toys, scented candles, hand-made jewellery, ceramic mugs, hats, scarves, traditional puppets and Christmas tree ornaments.

Watch out for the wonderful christmas lights, the carousel with its wooden horses and sants grotto and the sound of the choirs singing carols in the square.

As well as the christmas market in the city why not visit the Christmas Craft Fair in Garter Lane and Santa’s grotto while your are there.

Or visit the Santa Express – Christmas is a very special time at the Waterford & Suir Valley Railway. Santa visits the station every year with his helpers to meet as many children as he can.

The Waterford Panto Society return for their annual production with the Disney favourate Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs.

The four star self catering accommodation at Seacliff Holiday Homes, Dunmore East is the perfect location for all events within County Waterford.
